Established in 1970, Rock Creek Racing Association was formed to promote Sailboat Racing on the Patapsco River, just east of the Francis Scott Key Bridge.
For over 40 years, we've offered the opportunity for Cruisers to become Racers.
All types of boats and sailors of all skill levels are welcome. No matter how long you have or have not sailed, a season of racing will teach you more about sailing than you know. Handicaps, or PHRF ratings, are assigned to every boat. The more you learn, the better your result. No matter what position you finish, you will have a great time!

This historic Buoy marks the spot where the
National Anthem was written.
It is also the spot where the RCRA FSK Classic begins. Race from the buoy just west of the Key Bridge and race out to the Bay.
It was windy and wild! Thanks for coming out! We'll see you next year!
